Addictions are Brain Diseases- Not Social Behavior

Addictions, whether drug, alcohol or gambling related are serious and chronic brain disorders. Our society has a hard time accepting the fact that the 'ugly' issues, such as obesity, alcoholism and compulsive behaviors, are in fact an illness.
